Productivity & Project Management

What the Pointagram connector can do

Pointagram runs the scoring, competitions, and leaderboards behind a team gamification program. Once it's connected in type.com, a manager can ask Claude to add points for a player, pull current competition standings, or list the score series in use, so recognizing good performance doesn't require a separate login every time.

One connection, many Spaces

Connect Pointagram once, then decide which Spaces can use it in threads, skills, automations, and coding work.

Connection

API and auth details

Pointagram documents gamification concepts for players, teams, score series, competitions, badges, quests, events, reward stores, integrations, and social feeds. Public endpoint-level API details are limited, so integrations should describe score updates, player/team sync, competition automation, and engagement workflows conservatively.

FAQ

Questions people ask before connecting Pointagram

Can Claude manage Pointagram scores from type.com?

Yes. Once a Pointagram connection is shared with a Space, you can ask Claude to add points, check standings, or list players and competitions in a thread.

How is Pointagram authenticated in type.com?

Pointagram uses an API key. An admin adds it once when the connection is created, and then controls which Spaces can use it.

Can leaderboard updates post automatically?

Yes. Set up a type.com automation to pull Pointagram standings on a schedule, such as every Friday, and post the leaderboard to a channel.

Is this the same as an MCP server for Pointagram?

Not exactly. type.com uses connectors and connections to give selected Spaces access to approved app tools and data. Some connectors use hosted MCP, while others use OAuth, API keys, service accounts, or custom APIs.
