Productivity & Project Management

What the Toggl connector can do

Toggl Track logs time against clients, projects, and tags, then rolls that activity up into reports across a workspace. A type.com Space can ask Claude to set up a new project, invite a teammate to the organization, or create a client record, so time tracking stays current without a separate trip to Toggl.

One connection, many Spaces

Connect Toggl once, then decide which Spaces can use it in threads, skills, automations, and coding work.

FAQ

Questions people ask before connecting Toggl

Can Claude manage Toggl Track from type.com?

Yes. With a Toggl connection shared to a Space, Claude can create clients, projects, groups, and invitations directly from a thread.

How is Toggl authenticated in type.com?

Toggl uses an API key. An admin adds it once when the connection is created and controls which Spaces can use it.

Can Toggl project setup be part of a recurring workflow?

Yes. A recurring task, such as creating a project at the start of each sprint, can be set up as a type.com automation.

Is this the same as an MCP server for Toggl?

Not exactly. type.com uses connectors and connections to give selected Spaces access to approved app tools and data. Some connectors use hosted MCP, while others use OAuth, API keys, service accounts, or custom APIs.
